MALE BREAST CANCER TREATMENT: A CLINICAL CASE*

Relevance: Male breast cancer (BC) has always been behind female BC in detection, treatment, and surveillance. Lower frequency men
 limits the usefulness of screening. However, incidence men is growing.
 This paper demonstrates results surgical treatment typical changes clinical morphological manifestations male breast
 under chemotherapy surgery.
 Methods: The article describes a case patient diagnosed with “Cancer right St III (T4NxM0), edematousinfiltrative form an intraductal component, upper outer localization. Immunohistochemically luminal subtype B without Her2neu expression”;
 condition – after six neoadjuvant courses.
 Results: Ultrasonography mammary glands conducted preoperative courses showed hypoechoic formation,
 centralized, fuzzy, uneven contours, 52.5×48.2×46.1 mm size, V=60.98 cm3
 . Compared to March 2022 (the presence formation in
 craniolateral quadrant, precise 9.0 cm infiltrating growth), tumor decreased to
 US BI-RADS R6, L2. multidisciplinary council prescribed surgery extent radical mastectomy by Madden on simple
 left. was performed August 2022. According postoperative histological conclusion, therapeutic pathomorphism index RCB-2.233, class RCB-II.
 Conclusion: shares systemic man cancer. Considering picture and
 anamnesis, literature data, protocol, group recommended radiation therapy adjuvant endocrine therapy
 tamoxifen for initial period five years.
